I know I've been sitting in the background reading all that you guys had to offer, and thanks to you, I've finally made my first dvd backup..
I used Smartripper, then DVD2one, then Nero express.
I did Minority Report and it is a flawless copy.
Just wanted to let you all know THANKS!
One question...how do you avoid the narratoring that happens when ripping some movies...I've used both smartripper and DVD Decryper...for example: I rip Swimfan and the vob's have the correct soundtrack. I then transcode them with DVD2one and all of asudden the vob's have a narrator overlaying the movie soundtrack? Is that when I select the audio and subtitle tracks in DVD2one? I had selected AC3 2ch English, my only other english option is AC3 6ch. I will try that option after my current cd is done ripping...
