i need help making a vcd from a dvd

i was wondering if any one could tell me how to make a vcd copy of a dvd. i have a dvd rom, a cd-rw, and nero 5.5. can someone please help me.

Grab DVDx software at http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/downloads/dvdx.html

I already fix the URL.

Install it.

Put your DVD disc into your DVD ROM.
Run DVDx module.
Select DVD root from file menu.

And choose your DVD rom drive.

After that it will parse the movie.

Click OUT button, select Volume don't exceed option.

Set to 74 min VCD. Click apply.

Click FILE button, and set destination file.

Click Encode Button.

Burn the MPEG result with your Nero with Video CD wizard.

The BEST way ( i just recently discovered this) is a program, all in one (mostly) called "dvd2svcd"
just set 5 or 6 easy steps and it will do the rest for you, and you have a perfect vcd.

yeah, I also have this DVD2SVCD and it's awesome. I used to use it when we didn't have any DVD Burner around. It works great and simple too. Plus you can convert DVD to VCD or SVCD
