After doing the movie The Abyss with both programs in movie only mode i found at that DVD2ONE did seem to come out a little clearer. However DVD Shrink is FREE and DVD2ONE has a US Price of $42.00 , Now was the difference that much more noticeable to warrant a price of $42.00 ? in my opinion NO..! It seems to me that the author of DVD Shrink is striving to make this program the best of the best, and in my opinion he is very close to it now, and i believe by the begining of June 2003 he will have achieved this? Has anyone noticed that since the inception of DVD Shrink how all these other program authors have all of a sudden did an update to thier releases, how interseting. What i particularly found to be even more interesting was the the DVD2ONE message board will not allow you talk about DVD Shrink.! DVD Shrink keep up the awesome work, and if you are looking for donations let me know u have mine...!

DVD Shrink and Quality
First, I love DVD Shrink. I especially like the ability to re-author and especially the cropping feature.
The only problem is that I've noticed the video quality dropping off. This happens when you're trying to squeeze a 6-7gig DVD to one 4.7gig disk.
At this point, I'd rather split the DVD into (2) separate DVD's and keep the quality.
Now, for 5-6 gig it's not as noticable. This depends of course on how much bonus material and other things are taking up the space.
I love DVD shrink, I just wish there was a way to keep the quality level when trying to squeeze this much data.
