    Dvd-backup Using Dvd-decrypter Questions!!???

    Hi every body,

i am browsing through guides, but still there are sometimes to difficult to follow.
I just have a few questions and i would apreciate if its possible for you to answer them one by one, and not to refere me to a "guide"THX.

    1. When do i use IFO-MODE with DVD-DECRYPTER, and how do i use these files to burn them later?...

2.IF i can rip selected files in FILE-MODE why do i read in certain guides, to first rip the entire DVD and then split the files in
    IFO-EDIT??

    EXAMPLE:

I have the movie "the Big Lebowski" it offers 4:3 and 16:9 format.

I have chosen 4:3 and ripped the following files:

    VIDEO_TS.BUP [16kb]
    VIDEO_TS.IFO [16kb]
    VIDEO_TS.VOB [174kb]
    VTS_01_0.BUP [112kb]
    VTS_01_0.IFO [112kb]
    VTS_01_0.VOB [10.828kb]
    VTS_01_1.VOB [1.084.404kb]
    VTS_01_2.VOB [1.084.404kb]
    VTS_01_3.VOB [1.084.404kb]
    VTS_01_4.VOB [576.056]

    3. Can i copy these files into the folder VIDEO_TS of VIDEO-UDF/ISO and burn them with NERO?

    4. Would i have all the languages, sub´s etc. and would the movie start automatically with a stand-alone player?

    THANK YOU---THANK YOU--- THANK YOU

That is undoubtedly a reference to how to split a double-layered DVD (9.4Gigs) for burning to two single-layered DVDs (4.7Gigs each).

          HI THERE...

sometimes u have to try things yourself...and here are the results...

even if your DVD is >4,7GB and you are just happy with the main movie....you can just save a lot of time by just ripping the main vídeo files in FILE-MODE with DVD-DEcrypter, aslong as the total filesize doesn´t exceed app. 4,4GB. Thats what i did exactly like in my preview post.
i dragged the files in NERO DVD-Film VIDEO_TS and..... it worked.

          Greetings to all
