    Horrible ripping speed in Win2k

Is there another way besides installing the aspi layer in Windows 2000 that will speed up the ripping process. I mean just for this reason, I have a dual boot doing with Windows 2000 and Windows XP for my dvd ripping needs. When installing the aspi layer in Windows 2000, it didn't seem to help at all. I mean I could try enabling dma on my PX-504a in Windows 2000 but I'm not sure if that'll help either. If anyone has any suggestions, they would be much appreciated.

If you don't have your DMA Enabled, then it'll be SLOW and takes almost 1 hr. to RIP, but with DMA Enabled, you can have it as fast as 5 minutes with a full DVD RIP.

      Take care!
