Hi Guys,
I have tried to do a back up of one of my DVD's, using dvd shrink first and then using Nero express. The job went well, my writers are a Pioneer DVR-A03 (DVD-R) I aslo have a Sony DVD-R and DVD+R combined. I made my back-up on a Philips DVD+R using the sony writer, I also have a Philips DVDR 890 DVD recorder.
My disk played in the Sony machine also played in the Pioneer A03
but the Philips machine would not play the disk at all.
The question I have is this is strange as the disk was a Philips brand and it failed to play in the Philips machine and its a DVD+R
Can anyone help is there a brand of DVD disk in DVD+R and DVD-R
that has better compatibility with most machines.
