May be I've made something wrong and there is another way to solve the problem?Comment

Change the DVD Decrypter settings to ignore errors ("0 retries", if I remember correctly). If you're luvky, the ripped version may be acceptable.
Have you tried cleaning the DVD?
Have you tried running a DVD/CD cleaning disc on your DVD player/burner? Maxell makes one that retails for approximately $10US...Comment

FYI -- I see it under Tools-Settings- /I/O.
Early on I backed up some DVD onto crap Princo discs that generate various studdering, even locking up problems. I'm going to try this and see if it ignores the read errors and copies what it can off the bad media.Comment

To serlod
"Thanks a lot. It's in I/O and it works"
That's what I get for posting in the morning hours - Sorry for the minor innacuracy.
"Thanks to Setarip for idea"
My pleasure ;>}
Most importantly, however - Was the resultant rip acceptable, or too problematic due to the skipped sectors?Comment

I tried the setting and it cut right through the skipper. Have not had a chance to review the exact skip points and see any jumps. I was expecting the read error count to register but I guess if you have it set to ignore then it IGNORES.
This is my salvation to crap discs I have and will encounter in the future. Thansk again!Comment
