        "Mine doesn't like the +'s..."

If you're referring to your new burner, that shouldn't be the case. That model is supposed to be capable of burning DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, as well as CD_R...

I know that...It's not really hurting my feelings as the -R's are cheaper. I just bought 50 at CompUSA for $44.00 and change... A LOT cheaper than the +'s. Not as fast but I'm in no hurry.

If you are saying that you burner definitely created flawed burned DVDs using DVD+R in 7 of 10 attempts, I'd consider returning the burner if I were you.

If, instead, you're saying that a particular standalone player only RECOGNIZED 3 of 10 burned DVD+Rs, that play properly on your PC, that's probably due to the standalone DVD player's sensitivity to the quality of the INDIVIDUAL DVD+Rs...

I have a Daewoo 5800 and I have tried them in a Emerson, Panasonic and a off brand I have never heard of. If thats the case why do the -R's work??

It depends upon the capabilities/limitations of the specific player. For example, one of my players is a G.E. 1101P, which is supposed to be capable of playing back, among other formats, DVD-R and DVD+R - but it ALWAYS "gags" on the DVD+Rs after approximately one hour of playback, regardless of the brand of media...
