    DVD Shrink 2.3 query

Hello, Helpful forum and great tutorials and guides.

I have what is a simple thing to the experienced.

    I have a new sony DRU510A .

I wanted to try to back up some movies so.

I used Smart ripper to rip Gladiator, followed the guide for DVDshrink103 and used nero 6 to burn to disk which worked fine.

I then found your guides and tried to backup moulin rouge with the following results.

Used DVD shrink 2.3 to copy to Hard drive and then tried to burn, failure.

Used DVD decrypter to rip and then DVD shrink this message appeared
DVD shrink encountered error and cannot continue this operstion
    FILE DOES NOT EXIST
The reason is the system cannot find the file specified.

So I ripped it with Smart Ripper and I get the same error in both versions of DVDshrink.

The thing is after the message box is closed the normal interface is there.

Before I procede am I doing anything stupid.

I have the file named vts 02 0.info in a folder in the HD.

    thanks folks

DVD Shrink was unable to locate the "VIDEO_TS.IFO" file.

You MUST set DVD Decrypter to "File" mode - and from the "Edit" dropdown menu, select "ALL files" (NOT "movie files").

Ill have to look again at what I am doing.

I thought I had the video sorted, I previously deleted all the other attempts)
I got the right clip, shortened the beginning and end so not too much compression was needed.
Nero took 3hrs 45mins for some reason to burn and I ended up with a disk with about 4 visual chapter things and a whole lot of the extra bit of talked over movie but no actual movie?

I dont see how the main file 1 and 2 are the same size and total more than nearly double what is on the original dvd.

there is a lot more to this than meets the eye.

My rig should work fine as Ive not long finished it and have just done a fresh install of everything.
