first of all..... it is http:// and not htpp
      second
the site is real buggy.... first attempt with the opera browser
(yes there are browsers besides microsoft ie) did give a useless site......

may I suggest that you test your site before setting it on the net....

and I guess your next project should deal with html or xml

this would be of a lot of help.... especially for you!!!

Dear ADMIN, please accept my apology about this.
I thought I was helping everyone here, but I was wrong.

          -------------

I thank you everyone for visiting my site and had given my comments. I really appreciated. I've given 90% of my STEP BY STEP FREE, except some technical in dept guides are not FREE. Why am I doing this?

First, I just want to see how many people are reading my guides and really appreciated my work.

Second, I've showed you everything you need to know how to backup your DVDs in easy steps.

About DVDSHrink, yes, I do know how to use it. I've tested these programs...InstantDVD, DVD2ONE, DVDShrink, DVD95Copy...but the best is still DVD2ONE...the others takes twice as long. Remember, I said there are tons of guides, but my guides are the one that I picked for the easiest and faster way to backup your DVDs.

Anyway, I've decided to take off my guides as most of you don't really appreciated it. So there's no need for me to waste my time to do something that people really hate it. One thing I don't understand this, if you don't like that site, then don't go there. Just like if you don't like WALMART, then don't go there. Stop talking bad about what they carry or what they don't have. Again, thanks guys...I'm outta here!

P.S. If you're so smart, why are you guys here for...are you looking for help. And that's why I've tried to help ya' by creating my site.

ban this numbnut from this site...he's the same idiot over on dvdrhelp forums that says crap. You'd think he's a 12 or 14 yr old..but nowadays you are never too sure. Most likely a 30 yr old not in a relationship of any sort.

              To mrbass

I don't believe that the postings that " DVDIdiot" has made to this thread - which is all that counts at these sub-forums - include anything that would warrant banning here. Do you?

I agree with DVDIdiot... if people don't like his site, they have the freedom to choose NOT to go there. So if you go there and don't like his work, fine but don't criticise him. His website didn't crash your computer (or you wouldn't have been able to complain), it didn't cause you to lose your girlfriend, it didn't cause Walmart well, to be there in the first place.

Anyway DVDIdiot, just chill... btw how on earth do you know that the people who left 'negative' comments on your site are people from Digital-Digest?

Dear ADMIN, first I would like to thank you for letting me be here. I've create a step by step guides for all newbies to use. But some of them did not appreciate my work, so I temporary took down my site. Yes, I did block out some of the technical guides, as I stated here..all newbies guides are FREE, which walk you thru backing up your DVDs in easy steps with all picture...

Let's say, if you have DVD-9, all you have to do is click on DVD-9, then the guide will take you to the next step, when done with that step, it will take you to the next step and so on...I thought this was easy for everyone to follow without having to figure out what to do next. For example, what do I do after I have ripped my DVD. I've splitted it into 2 folders, now what? etc...

Do you see what I mean by this step by step...
So people some that I'm spamming, well spamming is when I'm trying to sell something or when I'm asking people for money, in this case I'm not. You do not have to pay me a penny to use these step by step guides. But yes, if you really want more in dept technical, then I would really appreciated if you can spare $1 for my work. If $1 is really a big deal to some people, then they don't deserve to get help at all. When I was a newbie, I've been paying alot of money on this.

                  WildmanJoe,
I really thank you for saying good things about my work. Yes, if you don't like a particular site, then don't do there. Just like some people don't like WALMART, is that mean they should stop people from shopping from Walmart. I think this is WRONG. Most of the bad comments I got were from DVDRHELP.COM. On my site, I even have a link to them. Why am I doing this, well, just like I said, I love to help people so that's why I've added all sites link to my page. Last word, I really thank you all people here for reading this and if you really want me to continue my work and reload my website again. Please drop me a note at: dvdplanet@mail.com

                    I say boot him.

I'm a total newbie - bought my DVD burner yesterday and don't have a clue. Went on his step-by-step guide. Blinded me with loads of bolox. No help whatsoever. I mean, if he had advice there, and it helped, and worked, yeah, I'd go on and give him a couple of quid - worth it in the long run, but up front on a page that gave me 1,000+ words of b&olocks?

Not for me. As far as I am concered, a "step-by-step guide" is --> Right, you need A, B & C. Open A, do this, Open C do this, go to B, open that, click that, hit 'burn'. Or am I just naive?

                      wavey,

I can't believe you said that my guides are not A, B, C...
Can you follow 1... do this,,,, then 2 do that? If you can, then my guides are designed for people who are newbies but must be able to know how to read english a little and follow the instructions...

If you have DVD-9, all you need is click on START, then click on DVD-9 or whatever DVD type you have then it will steps all from step 1 through finish. It's that easy. No need to look for what's next guide. Some guides just tell you what to do, then it just give you a clue where to go next.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend everyone!!!!

                          asbjoem,

I've alread fixed my site to load faster. I've tested it on a Pentium III - 866Mhz with 33k connection and it takes 50 seconds to load. Remember, this is a 33k connection NOT 1M like yours. I also tested it on Cable Modem with 1M downstream and it took just 5 seconds. Maybe it could be the traffic or something at the time of your visit.

Re: PS2 backup. It's not there,,,coming soon because I don't have PS2 system yet. I can't write out any guides unless I have the hardware to test it before I release it.

                          Take care everyone!!!

I personally think it's not only rude but pretty ignorant to criticize somebody for devoting their time to try to help ppl. Instead of discouraging him encourage him and that's how progress works. What if companies would of been discouraged to invent the first DVD burner or even CD burner. I guess none of us would be here then because this forum wouldn't exist. Opinions are like a**holes, everybody has one, but doesn't mean you have to show it.
