    burning the image

thanks to all for their comments

I have now created a nero cd image of a dvd on my hardrive.
how do I now burn this to disk in either:

    1. Nero burner

    2. img tool burn

When I try and burn the dvd using nero I get a messege saying that nero only supports the recorder that was bundle with the soft ware.

Img tool only allows me to burn another image to the hard drive and not to a disk.

please dudes I'm at my wits end here.

I've been trying to do this for 4 days

    1) Don't you have the burner with which this limited version of NERO was bundled?

    2) If not, simply purchase the upgrade to the unrestricted version...

simply download nero but have the version as normal instead of bundled like Setarip mentioned.
It does work. I also had the same problem until i changed.
Might also depend on your burner? pioneer 105 etc only like versions 5.5.10 and above/etc.

when I go to choose a recorder in nero burner my dvd rom is checked as "not available". My first 3 attempts at burning dvd's where very successful but now I am having no luck at all (after many attempts)
Neither is it the dvd rom available in img tool (only image recorder), when It was initially
I have done what I can to turn these Things "ON"
Please what do i need to do to get this hardware working?

i would reinstall your burner and software and then see what happens then.

            To acss

You are seeking assistance. Therefore, it would be polite (to say the least) if you would respond to the question I've previously asked you, to wit:

            1) Don't you have the burner with which this limited version of NERO was bundled?

              My appologies

              sorry dude!

I'm new to this. I'm having trouble navigating the forums.

I have an LG GMA-4020B recorder purchased in Korea. With it came software marked "B's recorder gold, B's dvd" and "B's clip" Nero burner version 5.5.10.9 was also incuded.
I have now running Nero vers 5.5.10.50 which I downloaded to update the disc version I had.
As I mentioned earlier, things were going fine until I started diddling with nero downloads, installing and uninstalling software.
I attempt to turn recorders on and off through "properties" boxes but to no avail.
I also have downloaded dvd shrink, dvd decrypter and img tool. All worked fine until I stuffed around with nero!!!

your help would be greatly appreciated!!

                1) "I have now running Nero vers 5.5.10.50"

This version is flawed. Use either v.5.5.10.42 or the most recent v.6.xx

                2) You have to PURCHASE an upgrade for your limited edition version of NERO

                  Thanks setarip

Will this solve the problem of the disabled recorder?

any chance I can download the ......42 version of nero somewhere?

                  thanx

Before attempting to install the proper PURCHASED NERO upgrade, I'd suggest you uninstall (NOT simply delete files) NERO from your system. Then reinstall the initial limited versio. Then install the PURCHASED upgrade.

I have no way of knowing what the impact of your alterations will be.

                    My pleasure ;>}
