    DVD to DVD copying (Nero)

Nero is encountering reading errors whilst trying to copy.
Been using DVDShrink and can burn without a problem. But soon as try and burn from dvd to dvd direct it comes up with problems.

    What could be the solution????

    This is a PIONEER 106.

"Burn" to your "Image Recorder" (hard drive), then burn .IMG file to your burnable media...

    (NERO>>"Recorder" tab>>Select recorder")

"Prefer not to do this thats all."

I've simply provided you with an alternative that works.

Feel free to pursue other solutions...

Ghost, how are your drives configuered?? If both DVD Rom and DVD burner are on the same IDE Chanel this could cause problems in Nero. Put your DVD Rom as the slave on the Primary and your burner as the master on the Secondary. This could be all you need to copy on the fly. Also, depending on OS that you use. Make sure you have the latest ASPI installed.

yeah using both on different drives such as primary and secondary. Using XP so could just be the latest aspi drivers.
Not on my system on my mates so download that for him and see how I go.

Good. You might also want to check the drives and see if the jumper is set to cable select. If so place the jumpers on the drives to their respective positions. If it's a slave, make it a slave. If it's a master, make it a master etc....Some say this doesn't make a difference but myself and others I know have had issues with this.

To copy a DVD to DVD, you can use clone DVD wich one is powerfull than nero (to my mind) and which one contain more options very precise.

                              Copy DVD to DVD

There are los of options but it is so detailed and clear that it's very simple tot use.
Don't forget that if you want to copy a dvd to another dvd you must have the original dvd

                              Have fun
