real time DVD conversion to WMV
I was wondering if someone could advise me on something that has been bugging me for quite some time.
I am desperately trying to find a way to convert a ripped DVD to WMV or DIVX in the same time as it takes to view the DVD, ie: in real-time.
I tried so far various software but all are time consuming (the quickest being about 4 hours - being DVDx) encoding each frame at a time.
Does anyone know if there is a good hardware alternative for doing this?? As far as I can understand these cards are good but they have to take an external source such as DV Camcorder, VHS, etc ... what about DVD being read from hard disk??
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
