    Problem burning dreamcatcher

    Hi all,
    Extracted files like always with dvd shrink.
    Removed layer break using ifo edit
    Split the movie with dvd fab
    burned with nero.
    Never had a problem until now.When viewing the movie I can only view the 30min directors commentary.When I open the files on the disc using inter video dvd the files are present.
    Whats wrong?

      Sounds like you are viewing as individual .VOBs from your hard drive, rather than as "DVD"...

          Hi setarip,
          When i play the dvd it only plays the 30min commentary it wont play the movie or menus or xtras although they are present on the dvd when i view it through windvd.(VOB files on the disc)

              Then I can only speculate that you've done something more with IFOEdit than simply remove the layer break. You might want to experiment with using IFOEdit to create new .IFOs and .BUPs...


              Of course, there's also the possibility that DVDFab is buggy.

                          Sorry no luck.
                          Ripped the main movie,removed layer break and split with no problem but whole dvd no can do.

                                  Ive probably split around 75 movies usind dvdfab with n o problem. Just cant do dreamcatcher.

                                      Possibly try DVDDecrypter and make an image. Then use Shrink to reencode it to fit onto 4.7gb. Burn out with Nero. Just a suggestion.

                                          Yes, That is what I did also

                                          This is the 1 DVD out of 20 I couldn't backup with dvd shrink. And I had the exact same problem.
