DVD9 > 2x DVD5 - Special Edition

Hi!
Whenever I read a guide for DVD9 > 2x DVD5 the way to do is to split the main movie into 2 parts.
But thats not what I want: I'd like to get the menu inkl. main movie on disc 1 and the menu inkl. everything else on disc 2.
And when I select en element not present on the current disc a "Change Disc" Picture should be displayed.
If the movie inkl. menu is too big for one disc it could be transcoded in a 2. step, the important question for me is how can I split a DVD this way and add those "Change Disc" pictures.

I don't believe that can be readily accomplished.

If you'd like a pleasant surprise, try using (FREEWARE) DVD Shrink to compress your ENTIRE DVD-9 and burn it to ONE DVD-5...
