a06 can't read its own burns

Had this exact problem a few weeks ago and solved it.
I read that Roxio have a UDF reader that could be installed, but it wouldnt install stand alone. So I managed to get hold of a copy of WinonCD (the disks were recorded with this, but this was irrelevant because my brothers machine didnt have WinonCd installed but could read the disks). Anyway it worked, and I can now read the disks. Suggest you test a copy yourself if possible.

But it only happens when I record at 1x.
Started burning at 1x for better compatibility with stand alone players.
        Any other speed reads fine.
        Pretty weird.
I'm using Ridata/Ritek G04, which is considered a very good media.
        Any help is welcome.
A DVD Decrypter burn log would help. It'd help me anyway as it's about the only program refugees like myself understand. Also, stop burning at 1x. It's pointless when BURNPROOF is enabled and using a decent quality burner with good media.
