Bulk Paq Disks

I can make DVD > Hard Drive > DVD rips, and VCDs, SVCDs, I know about DVD-5 and DVD-9 disks.

I have made 3 copies of my own DVDs, I burnt them on Ritek Printable 4x DVD+R.

They worked fine and then I used a Bulk Paq 4x DVD-R, and it jutters and stops in my DVD player.

I have downloaded the latest firmware for my burner (Lite-On LDW-451S, DVD+RW, DVD-RW).

Bulkpaq discs are not very good. Try burning at 2x rather than 4x.

Stick with Ritek discs.

Cheers, I will stick with Ritek, I have just got 23 potential coasters!

If you can burn the, at 1x and also take a few hundred MB off the file size. This makes the disc not have any data at the edge of the disc. Some people have had the video stutter when it gets to the end of a film/edge of the disc.

still didn't work

so i traded my disks for some better ones, these do work!!

Same problemo here. I've turned several bulk pack DVD-Rs into coasters already. I've even seen nero6 fail several simulations at 4x and once at 2x with these crappy discs. Despite their alleged 4x rating. If I switch to Fuji 4x DVD+RWs everything goes smooth as butter. No more el-cheapo discs for me I guess.

meritline.com has some guaranteed 4X discs, but 2X isn't bad.

FYi, The more light, the more apparent the shadow. But, the more the light is diffused, the more the shadow is humbled.

I am now using some more Rietek disks, and they work fine at 4x DVD-R...
