    How to burn download movies?

Im getting crazy! How do you burn a dvd with a download movie! I've converted the avi file to an mpg2, but my dvd burner(s) (Nero and NTI) says that its an invalid format or something like that!
And the file is too big for a 800mb cd disc. Please help me before i throw my new computer out of the window!

Hmmm, your post is a little confising. First you ask how to burn a DVD. Then you say the file is too big for an 800mb CD.

So what are you trying to do, burn to a CD or DVD?

        from the new updated rules!
        please observe.

"The following posts are acceptable, and should be posted in their respective forums (eg. DivX - Encoding) :

If you only mention a video file (eg. "I downloaded an AVI file from Kazza" or "I downloaded a movie file from Kazza").

If you don't mention you got the movie from a P2P source (eg. "I have downloaded a movie" or "I have a movie and I want to burn it as a VCD")"

original post isn't confusing, it doesn't make sense. if your wanting to put this on a CD-R, your mistake was to convert it to mpeg-2. you want mpeg-1(VCD) format. tmpgenc can do this. if it is going on a dvd then this would be correct.

              Sorry, I don't quite understand.

I read ALL the rules, but this was such a grey area I didn't feel the
posts had definitely violated them, almost, but it was a judgement call.
I almost reported it first, but felt that premature. Of course the thread
              was off topic anyway.

Rule 6 is a very grey area, vbg!
