Do I have to split if I want to copy onto one disc

Thisis my first try at burning DVD's and it appears that my movies are to big to place on one Disc, do I need to use 2? Any help is appreciated.

Use Dvdshrink to obtain the desired size

I did, now how do I burn the file from my hard drive to the DVD. I have Intervideo Win DVD

Windvd is a dvd player software. If you don't have Nero d/l the trial version and try it, this is what I use. Burn-at-once is free and I never had any problems with it. If you install the demo version of Nero you can burn from Dvd shrink too. I like Nero 6 for it's added features. Check here under the tools section www.dvdrhelp.com for a list of burning software.
