VHS to DVD Problem

Try to make this short.. I captured VHS via VCR through my ATI 9800 pro video card... captured it fine using Pinnacle Studio 8.. went right to HD. Converted it to MPEG and compiled it but it will not burn to my DVD Burner (it goes through the motions but my disk is always empty...DVD burner works fine) Media is DVD-R which I have burned on in the past no problem. Just can not get VHS to DVD.. I have Pinnacle Studio 8, Nero 6 and Sonic MyDVD.. nothing seems to work.. like I am doing something simple wrong.. any links or suggestions would be appreciated.

You need to use TMPGEnc to properly author the file before Nero can burn it.
Why? I don't know,but I had the same problem,and this authoring program solved it

It works great for me,and my over a thousand S/V titles I am converting!!!!!!
I plan to be finished with my projeact sometime in 2007! Yikes.

BTRDAD - early version of Nero are reported to be very buggy so be sure to update to lastest version.
