no audio-nero

hi there dont know if anyones touched on my particular problem or not, although i havent read bout in in previous browses so here goes. im using nero vision express to convert and burn movies onto dvd-r. 95 percent of the burns have been successful hovever i have a couple movies were theres either no audio or the audio is garbled to the point were u cant understand it. can anyone help me with any ideas on how to fix this audio problem. the movies play fine on my puter. thanx in advance . mike.

What is the format of your problematic source material? - DVD, DivX-compressed .AVI, XviD-compressed .AVI, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, other?

If it's NOT DVD:

1) Load the original video file into VirtualDub (or one of its many variants) or NanDub

2) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"

3) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (BOTH video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information box

You MUST convert the audio to 48,000Hz (from the indicated 22,050Hz)...

Use "TMPGEnc" or "TMPGEncPlus" (Different than "TMPGEnc DVD Author). Select it's DVD "wizard"/template. From under the "Audio" tab, change the frequency to 48,000Hz...

under the audio the frequency is at 48000 but its in light grey..the sampling area..so how do this if its not lightening an option..or am i doin something incorrect,,thanx mike..ps im using tmpgenc plus..

ok..i used tmpgenc and i put a separate audio and video files and made one complete file...ill let u know how it turns out..

u shoul try DVDLab, has many validations for formats (Audio & Video) with a plus, if its invalid for a DVD format DVDLab offers u convert tool.
