As another who wasted my $ on Platnium (until I found Shrink).
Xcopy will not let you make a second copy of a disc.
It may be recognizing some code from your first copy, and thinks you want to make another copy which it will not-confused?
Even though its a 2 disc set-it is reading it as the same.
Get rid of Xcopy (bite the bullet), and download Shrink for free.

* First use DVDSHRINK 3.1.7.6 to decode and shrink the DVD; obtainable here: http://www.dvdshrink.org/where.html
* Then that file is converted by manually starting IMGTOOLS Classic 0.91.2 (For my setup this is the ONLY version that works. The newest versions do NOT work for the setup I have and am describing here) Here is the link to download this file: http://www.coujo.de/ib/index.php?act..._name=download
* I then use DVDDecrypter to burn the file (.iso) created by IMGTools to a DVD. IMGTOOLS can be setup to automatically start this program. DVDDecrypter is found here: http://www.dvddecrypter.com/download.asp
The quality and control using these programs is excellent.
Good luck- MikeComment

Cyrano,
Might you post a guide (brief short one) on what steps you used to rip and then burn to a DVD?
I tried Xcopy Xpress and also encountered the CSS protection error.......
Downloaded the files in your previous post...... all set to roll.
Thanks
