LG 4 * mulit format burner- burning @ 2*

I have updated to the latest firmware as of 30'04'04 but it still will only burn at 2 *.

Anyone else solved this prob ?

some midias are not available for 4x speed with some recorders.....

What is your burner model number. And what is the firmware version (not date).

YIPPEEEE!!

Finally found some good 'CHEAP' media to burn at 4X. I bought them as 'White Label - A grade quality' DVD-R's, but DVD Decryptor detects them as PRINCO. The cost me $39 AUD for 50. So I went back to the shop once I tested a few and bought 250 more of them. Also they are printable, which works a treat with my EPSON printer.
