DVD Shrink Error

I keep getting the error:

Data error (cyclic redundancy check)


I get this error everytime that I try to shrink the DVD The Last Samurai.

Any suggestions?

A CRC error indicates that there's a problem with the physical DVD (scratched, dirty, Peanut Butter and Jelly) that DVD Shrink cannot resolve. First, try cleaning the DVD. If DVD Shrink still generates this error:

Use DVD Decrypter to "rip" the DVD to your hard drive in "File" mode - and from the "Edit" dropdown menu, select "All files" (NOT "movie files").

Then use DVD Shrink to "Open files" (NOT "Open Disk") - and select "VIDEO_TS.IFO"

Thanks for the reply and helpful tips. I tried all that you suggested and I still get an error when ripping with DDecrypter. The error is: "cyclic redundancy check". The dvd is clean and plays fine I just cannot get it to rip.

Any other ideas?

Hoping someone has some ideas. I am getting the EXACT same problem with this disc.
