DVD Recorders vs. Capture Cards
What would typically garner better results...
VHS transfer via a VCR style DVD recorder or...
VHS transfer using a capture card and the use of sotware such as iMovie or Final Cut.
I am talking about quality of sound and picture not ease of use or the ability to have menus that are nice or not.
If you are not using a TBC will that figure in?
Will a VCR style DVD recorder ignore bad VHS subcode that may cause a capture card to lose sync that results in picture and audio distortion?
