    DVD Burner Purchase

I am just getting started with DVD burning having been used to burning to DIVX for couple years. I am thinking of purchasing a DVD burner - the new Sony DRU-700 dual layer burner which also burns all the single layer formats as well- specifically. Any comments or suggestions? Other good burners?

P.S. I think the DRU-700 just hit the market this past monday.
I haven't seen any dual layered media for sale anywhere, anyone know where I might at least find out how $$ they are.
    Thanks

I have a Pioneer 107d. Its great, havent had any problems with it really. Except some of the media I have burnt on was poor. But thats not the burners fault.

            Good Cheap media

Thanks Dublo7 I just bought a pioneer 107- looked like a good deal. What media do you use - is there a good cheap brand that works particularly well with pioneer?
            Thanks
