Reading a DVD with errors (Bad media)

    Hi all!
I just backupped a video dvd, and everything seemed to work correctly wehn watching the film, but in the middle somewehere I got very jerky playback until PowerDVD hanged completely..
Then I tried to read in the DVD again using Nero and the image recorder, but somewhere it stopped saying read error..
Maybe the media is corrupted. I'm using Fortis dvd-r, but never had any problems with them.

Is there any software thatjumps over read errors.. so I can completely read the dvd to burn it again?

    Thnx for some info!

    Bye,
    Max

If you still have the DVD files residing on your HD, try burning them again with a different "BRAND" of media.
