    Problems using NERO

In the past I was using DVD Shrink and NERO to burn DVD's recently nero has not been burning. Shrink does its job but nero acts up. It would go through the normal process as if it was going to burn then the bar at the bottom just fills up and nothing has been burned. I thought it was the drive but after trying two different burners still the same nonsense. HAs anyone else have this problem??

I was using shrink 3.1.7 and nero 6.0. with an IO magic burner.

PLEASE HELP. I need to get this going again.

    Thanks, Hess

    hi yeshess

If you are using an early version of Nero 6, do the Nero update.

Have you tried creating an ISO and getting DVD Decrypter to burn?

When in DVD Shrink, select ISO as your output device and name the output file.
Then in DVD Decrypter, select mode/ISO/write and select your iso file, then click to burn

Thanks, will try it. Just downloaded DVD Decrypter 3.2.2.0. Already have shrink 3.1.7. Gonna see what happens.

              Thanks

Sounds like the disk is dirty but just thought - what Operating System are you using?

Disable the "autoburn" function in Shrink. Rip the dvd with Shrink and try to play the movie from your HDD using the PC player. If the movie plays without problem then Shrink is not the problem. Next use a RW (to reduce coasters) and burn the movie using Nero as a seperate step. Check the backup copy in the PC and your standalone unit to make sure all is well, and please report back on your progress.

Done, no change. I'm about to throw this burner out the window.
