Loss of HD space with DVD Shrink

i've been backing up a number of DVD's with DVD Shrink and just noticed that my HD is now 111gigs when it should be around 40gigs now more. When i start a new DVD it ask's if i want to delete the old files, which i do. I right click on my HD and it says 111gigs, yet when i click on each folder in the main DIR theres no directory so big as to warrent such a large amount of used file space. Im running XP with a NTFS file system. Any help would be extreamly greatfull.

Are you running any norton utilities or similar? (particularly protected recycling bin)

Thanks for that, it turns out norton left its prtected bin on my computer after i had deleted the program. Found it with Treesize.
