Hi. Just followed the guide by Admin to back up a DVD9 to 2 DVDs using Ifoedit. All appeard to have gone well - I followed the guide - but when I went to author disc1 using Nero 6.3 it came up with reallocation errors - not the first time this has occured when I've been authoring ripped DVD files and sometimes "shrunk" DVD (usually using CloneDVD2) with Nero . I continued anyway - the resultant DVD will play but only when I hit the title button on the handset, and it plays as normal from the front menu which is then displayed.
Disc 2 copied perfectly using Image Tool Burn as per the guide - plays from the split point immdeaitely - but as I have Nero 6.3 it went straight to authoring.. so I tried re-authoring Disc1 this way too - same problem. Tried using CloneDVD2 to author & it came up with IFO Format 22 error.. Not sure what else to try!
Any ideas? Is this a Nero thing or have I screwed up the process somewhere? The disc1 files on my HD play fine thru PowerDVD but something is wrong!
