Question about rip speed and quality

    Hi
I've ripped and burned a couple DVDs since receiving my Plextor708A a few days ago. No coasters yet. Been reading for about a couple weeks and have a couple questions if someone would be so kind.
I just did a test ripping the same DVD (4.25gb-no compression) with the following and the results. (.vob)
    Shrink3.1.7.6 and CloneDVD2 both ripped in 25.5 minutes (2.7kbs)
Decrypter ripped in 6 minutes (7-16kbs) ((5.5 to over 11X)).

Question: Considering the speed differences (Not sure why Decrypter was so much faster) when I go to burn... which of the above rips will provide the best quality or will there be any difference?
My burning software can be either Nero Ultra6.3.1.17 or CloneDVD2.
Running Win98se so FAT32 is in play. No ISO files if I read correct.
Question2: Does ISO provide better quality than .vob or no difference?

So if Decrypter rips in less than one fourth the time of Shrink and CloneDVD2 is the rip as good as the others?
And should it make any difference burning with Clonedvd2 or NERO.
    What would you choose.
    Thanks so much.
    Jonn

WOW!!! Blacklisted on the 1st post.
Never seen a forum where Mods allow posts to go unanswered.
I thought this was a place to learn and help. My bad.

    I'm out.

DVD Decrytor does not compress !!

Maybe the mods thought you were asking a silly question.

How did your DVD Decrypter go when you did the backup of the 6 min ripped files ?? Didnt fit on the media. Prob should have posted this quest on the newbies forum ??

Good luck, it is fun to learn.
