    1) Primarily, DVD Decrypter removes copy protection from DVDs

    2) Primarily, DVD Shrink compresses DVDs

Thanks for the reply, that's what I thought the Decrypter & Shrink did, but somehow not able to use it correctly so far to copy a DVD.

At least I know now that I am in the right track.:

Sorry for the inconvinience. To burn a copy of one of my DVD's are the sequence in this order.

          1. DVD Decrypter
          2. DVD Shrink 3
          3. Nero 6 Ultra Edition

If not would appreciate the right direction. Sure miss my 321 DVD Express software, oh well.

you got the order right, dvd shrink has the ability to invoke nero 6, so it is almost more like a two step process. decrypt, then compress and burn in one step. good luck.

              To whitecloud

In most instances, you won't have to use DVD Decrypter at all - as DVD Shrink includes a fairly good builtin decrypter. But DO keep DVD Decrypter handy for those "problematic" DVDs you may occasionally come upon...

Oh well I am still lost when it comes to burning a DVD, after using the DVD Decrpter my DVD shrink 3 while encoding: states

                Decryption Status : Not Encrypted

I am assuming that it is stating that the DVD Decrpter did not encrepted the DVD???? Is this correct, dumb question?? if so what the heck am I doing wrong have followed the Encrypter tutioral???

Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like you need to look at these pages.

DVD Decrypter has decrypted the DVD as not encrypted means there isn't any decryption.

BTW, DVD Decrypter can also burn the DVD if you select ISO image as the target device. This is with Shrink 3.1.7.6.
