DVD Burning and Backup

I am experiencing problems with ATI Rage 128 Pro and newer Video cards. I have been using this software almost a year now and installed it on two computers with the above card and version 2.3.1 works fine but 3.1.7 crashes after changing the video card to a card that is in a working computer it gets past the first error but goes into a looping when you click backup, then freezes. any help with this issue would be appriciated
