    False Burn Failure message

When I copy a DVD Movie with DVD Shrink to DVD+R using Nero 6 I get a "Burn Error" message but the copy plays OK. A file of the error message is attached. Can anybody help please?

"A file of the error message is attached."

Your attachment somehow did not get posted.

      To eded

Over the years, I've observed that NERO quite often generates a false "Unable to write lead out" error message - which has NEVER resulted in an unplayable DVD...

Problem solved. My system is a Dell 4600 with a TEAC DV-W58E burner. The firmware in my drive was version D.0C. I found an update to version D.0J on Dell's Service site and downloaded and installed it. Problem gone and drive burns faster. With 7 firmware changes from C to J it probly does other things better. It would have been nice if Dell had told me that it was available. Thanks for the replies, and I hope this helps someone else. eded
