certain discs that do not work

Hi. I've been trying to backup my collection of DVDs, and certain discs will not work.

For example, 24 Season 2, disc 2 (among others) and Sigmund and the Sea Monsters.

Is it possible that they have certain encryption? I cannot see Sigmund being very high-tech, but perhaps it is.

I've tried various programs...

I would appreciate any help/suggestions, as I am very distressed.

the disc gets 3/4 of the way through in the ripping process

then an error pops up "data encryption" or something like that.

the programs that i have used are: 321 Studios Platinum

1) Try using freeware DVD Shrink instead

2) Clean your ORIGINAL purchased COMMERCIAL DVDs...
