Burning problems with NU DDW-082 - stopped burning...

Hey, all -

I've had a NU DDW-082 for a couple months. Has worked perfect up 'til today. Insert the same house media blank DVD+R into as I've used successfully since day one, and Nero 6 tells me I need to insert blank media, ejecting the DVD+R. Tried reinstalling Nero, un/reinstalling the drive through Device Manager (in XP Home), tried a bunch of different disks, tried an earlier version of Nero, and zippo. Not sure what else to try.

I had this problem pop up once with a CDR, and updating drivers fixed it. Not sure what to try here, though - upgrade the firmware?

Anyone have any ideas?

BTW, it reads DVDs fine, burns CDRs fine, and I scraped up a Ricoh DVD+R, which it burned fine. Any idea why the media that's always worked suddenly crapped out on me?
