backup dvd I/o error

I gett an I/O error when i want to backup/encoding a dvd , whats wrong , can somebody help me

At what point are you seeing that I/O error? I saw mine after selecting my DVD drive and DVD Shrink tried to use it. This thread goes thru my process of getting it to work. In short, having both CD and DVD drives on IDE2, I had to just switch my DVD drive (master) and CD drive (slave), to DVD drive (slave) and CD drive (master).
