I am lost

I am trying to rip a DVD using IFO mode as I want
some chapters (say chapter 5 and 6 out of 1 trough 20) out of a DVD.
I want to use that rip to create and burn a DVD. I
would like to know how to go this. I am using DVD Shrink
and know about setting the start and end feature but
that does not help me or does it?

I assume for this, you mean you are using DVD Decrypter.

Instead, use DVD Shrink ONLY to rip, and use the "Re-author" mode to select the chapters you want to include...

Yes the IFO rip was with DVD Decrypter.
I already have the rip and when I use DVD Shrink to
open to the folder it does not recognize it due to missing
VIDEO_TS file.
Is there anything that can be done?

As I've already stated:

Instead, use DVD Shrink ONLY to rip, and use the "Re-author" mode to select the chapters you want to include... (Delete your DVD Decrypter .IFO rip, as it's useless)
