i formatted my drive. i then installed nero(without updates)and dvd shrink and it works nowso i think this weekend since i have my new restore point after the successful burn i might try the new nero(hopefully i can find the update just before this one.
now i'm going to try updating a bit at a time then burn to see where the fault is.

Itr should work since this is on their FTP site.
