New burner: LG GSA4120BA or Nec ND-3500A?

Both are dual layer but the LG writes all 3 formats compared to the Nec's 2. But then the Nec writes at 16x compared to the LG's 12x

Only £7 in it too...

So which would it be folks?

I would suggest to you neither, rather I would recommend restraint in buying a DL drive just yet.

In a few months you will see the prices of not only the drives but the media fall not to mention that the industry would have ironed the bugs away.

Most important is that there will also be a -DL media support besides the current +DL, do you wanna fork out again when that time comes?
