Ive been using DVD Shrink for the last six months with no problems whatsoever. Recently ive tried two differnet disks and it seems there is a problem. When writing to a disk it hangs at about 30% and just stays there. When you try to shut it down using task manager it says program not responding ??? can anyone suggest anything Please.

To check the compatibilities/limitations of your DVD burner with regards to specific types of media visit:

Ive always used the same media and burned 40 diskd with no problems, so i don't think the media is the issue ???Comment

Check to see if your burner drive is set to DMA. It is possible that your OS may have inadvertently switched it back to PIO mode.Comment

Try running a DVD/CD cleaning disc on your burner. Maxell makes one that retails for approximately $10US...Comment

i tried that but didn't work. i ve just done a system restore and it seems to have done the trick. Still don't know what the problem was though, a mystery to me !Comment
