    subtitles missing on TV but shows up at PC

    Hi!
    I've tested my new Nec 3500 dvd burner and burned Last Samurai from an image file to dvd (traxdata). Used Decrypter to burn. Now, subtitles are included and they are appearing fine when I play the movie on the pc. But they are NOT showing when Im playing yhe movie with a standalone dvd player. Tried 3 players so far, no luck. And yes, Ive tried selecting the subs with remote. No luck. Menu is there and all that...

    Any clues ??

    /F
    ps Same result with Kill Bill 2.

    Have you tried adjusting the vertical size of the TV?

        "have tried both 4:3 and 16:9 format."

        THat has nothing to do with adjusting the VERTICAL SIZE of the TV image (An adjustment of the TV settings, not the DVD format)...

          Eh...u mean changing vertical size on tv screen (settings)..that isnt possible on my tv. Remember, dvd isnt played on pc->tv
          Its standalone dvd player->tv

          Only thing I can change in the tv settings is between 4:3 and 16:9..

            I understand full well that you are playing from a standalone DVD player to a TV.

            I find it extremely hard to believe that you have NO ability to adjust the TV's screen appearance (Either physical adjusters on the front or back, or onscreen via the remote control). You might want to read the manual that came with the TV...

              Now why is this so hard to belive. The only thing I can do with tv screen is switch between 4:3, 16:9, and some other views.
              That doesnt help me...

              Question is, why should I change the tv screen...u mean that the subs are outside the visible area? Find that hard to belive....
