data in DVD+RW

burned some divx movies into dvd+rw (cursor) as data. but standalone philiips dvd737 doesn't play it. menu with the files appears on TV, but disc doesn't play. after pushing "play" only appears track number and time 0:00:00. and that's all... is there some trouble in disc (cursor....) or smth else? any suggestions?

yes... you can't make from **** nothing but ****... and that's truth again. everything's ok after burning into ACME DVD+RW (lithuania product). everything works perfectly. play, stop, forward, rewind etc.

Hi,
I want to make a DVD that could be watched on a stand-alone DVD player (the player can work with avi files ie. divx xvid etc').

I know that i must put the avi files on the DVD as data.

The question is: can somone plz explain to me how i can add a menu to this DVD (a menu that will work on the stand-alone DVD player, without converting the files from avi format) i need only a simple menu.

Any ideas or software i need or a guide ?
