DVD will not play on home player

used dvd shrink 3.1 fallowed there steps when compleate dvd will play on my pc but will not play on any home dvd players or my ps2. I tryed with dvd decrypter and same problem
I have windows xp, and nero 6 with latest up dates
any help would be great

You may have more success with a +R

DVD-R

Thanks for your help before I tryed the DVD+R and it worked it plays in my newer player. My AKAI player pops up as a MP3 and will not play not sure what thats about. I was told for the older players I need to use DVD-R. So my question is how do I set Nero 6 to burn DVD-R or will it only burn DVD+R

Nero will recognise which media you are using when you insert it into your writer. Just ensure your writer is capable of writing to the -R/-RW format.

My writer only recognises DVD+R/RW can i change this by adding new or dif drivers
