      To Mattwithsup

Did you try PLAYING the (apparently failed) burned disc before throwing it away?

Sorry, I didn't save my log (the PC I burn on has no internet access or floppy drive to bring it to this PC) but I'm having an apparent Nero problem too. I've made backups of discs using DVD Shrink and tried a straight disc to disc copy from this backup. It takes a while to burn (approx an hour) and always ends in a failure.

Nero says something like - Burn failed at 4x speed, unable to read data. I appear to be able to play the discs ok in the PC. Has Nero given a false error, or is it not finalising the disc?

Again, sorry not to have included the log.

          To Tim Who?

Yours is a different question than that of the starter of this thread, "Mattwithsup". You should start a NEW thread for your question...
