DVD+R vs DVD-R

I am new to DVD technology, Is there any additional advantage with DVD+R than DVD-R? (my burner supports both formats).

No. (DVD-R's capacity is a miniscule 6Mb greater than DVD+R's)

Your only concern should be whether the PLAYER(s) that will be used to playback the DVD rcognize DVD-R and/or DVD+R...
