    DVD Shrink won't burn

    hello everyone,

I have problems with burning. DVD shrink is ripping en encoding and everything, but it stops with the message that ''I now can burn with the appropiate burning software''.
I can't seem to find any options, wich will make DVDshrink set off to burn my DVD's. Also in the BAckup-menu its not possible for me to change the Burnsettings like speed and the two squares underneath it.

    regards

DVD Shrink doesn't burn - you need a burning application, eg. Nero, TMPGEnc DVD Author, DVD Decrypter (ISO mode)
This isn't a learning curve ... this is b****y mountaineering!

      thanks for the reply, sfheath.

I thought it was something like that.
      so I've downloaded Nero 6.0
See if it will work this time.

      i'll keep you posted..

Although Nero will probably work fine, I've been using decrypter for all my burns. Shrink works great with decrypter, never had a single problem.

        A couple PgcEdit guides
MenuShrink can shrink your menus to 5-10% of their original size.

Yes, maybe I should have put DVD Decrypter at the start of that list .. after all, it is free

I tend to get fewer buffer under-runs using Decryptor. Anytime I use Nero and I even go onto a website and surf around the buffer starts bogging down.

                it works!!

                hello everyone,
thanks for all the reply's. The tip for using DVD decrypter was a golden one.
I downloaded it from sepia.com, and now I've allready burned two DVD's without a problem.
the only remark is that when you zoom in on you're DVD-player, because many movies are to be vieuwed in cinemascope, the images tended to be a bit blur, not entirely sharp. But it can be watched.
