    Best dvd Media

    could someone tell me if the quality of the media affects the quality of the movie being copied??? audio video quality??? and could someone tell me why i can only encode at 1,600 kb/s??? and after using shrink and putting it on the hd can i burn again off off hd with same quality? thanks

              No disk brand doesn't affect movie "quality". It affects the burn quality (successful or a coaster basically). The encode rate depends on the amount of compression used. The more compression used, the longer it takes to encode, resulting in a slower speed. Every DVD is going to be different, so the phrase " I used to burn at these speeds", doesn't apply.
