    some werid cyclic redundancy check problem

    guys i was tryint to back up this movie its like 7.8Gb and while it was analysisng at 52% a error came up sayign cyclic redundancy check.. and im confused dont know why that happened :S so then i put another differnt dvd and saem thign happened with that one so i dont know why taht was happening in dvd shrnk if anyone know how to fix it plz tell or if there is anyother program i can use to burn tat 7.8 Gb movie in a 4.3 Gb disc

    CRC Error most of the time means a scratched or dirty disc. Clean them, then retry them.

    You can also use DVD Decrypter to rip the files off the DVD, then shrink them with DVD Shrink.

    You can download DVD Decrypter via the "red" link at the bottom of my post.

    Use DVD Decrypter to "rip" the DVD to your hard drive in "File" mode - and from the "Edit" drop down menu, select "All files" (NOT "movie files").

    Then use DVD Shrink to "Open files" (NOT "Open Disk") - and select "VIDEO_TS.IFO"
