Problem backing up Buck Rogers Disk #4

I am trying to back up Disk #4 of the Buck Rogers series.

I get the following error "redundancy error check"

I tried two different DVD drives:

Sony DVD-Rom and NEC-3500A both are getting the error.

    Any help would be great.

Try to clean it with toothpaste - the error could indicate that.

Over the past 6 months I have never had a problem.

Is it a brand new disc - never used before?

So I should ripp it with DVD decriptor first and then use DVD shrink?

Never done that in the past.

(trying to focus on the topic at hand. Major Distraction!)

Try to read the dist from you burner and not your DVD-ROM Drive. Also make sure that when you clean your CD's that you clean them from the Center out to the side of the disc. Never circular or diagnal motion. Should be Straight from the Center to the Edge and NOT back. Whipe Buffering it in one direction.

You might also want to try to set the Speed of your DVD-ROM to be about 8x or less so that it has nothing to do with high speed balance problems. CRC and Failure to read can be caused by balance issues aswell.

Buck Rogers on DVD? OMG I need to get my hands on that. What Studio Released it?

Erin Grey all the way.. Man she was my childhood knockout right next to Linda Carter (Wonderwoman).
                  Cheers!

Buck Rogers was released by Universal about 3 weeks ago.

Ok I tried to Ripp at 1X times and stilll the same error. Everytime I get the error at the same point. Is it possible to be a bad disk? My normal disk plays fine in my DVD player.

Make SURE you're using version 3.52 of DVD Decrypter - It AUTOMATICALLY deals with the newest form of copy protection being used...

Yea, I am using 3.52 and still the same problem.

                        Anyone else have an idea?

I had the same problem with 3 disc's from our Brand New copy of "Smallville "season 3. (Teenage Girls are rough on DVD's)

It was brand new right out of the box. I got errors in all programs, disc could not have been cleaner. It was like it wouldnt load up.
I took my cleaning tissue, and went around the edge of the disc, not on the surface, the very edge, also did around the edge of the center. (like if i was putting the disc on a finger)
this disc did fire up & was able to back up.

Dont know if this will help.
                          but worth a shot.

Sorry, Does the Disc Load up?
Are You able to play it in your Burner?

It could be that the disc is defective.

By the way where did you get those fun movies & who is the woman in blue?
